Refund Policy

This Refund Policy outlines the general terms governing cancellations, credits, and refunds for services and products provided by The Movement Collective. By purchasing services, packages, memberships, or products, you agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.

All refund decisions are made in accordance with this policy and applicable laws in the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other applicable legislation.

The Movement Collective reserves the right to amend or update this Refund Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Refund Policy - the basics

This Refund Policy applies to all services, packages, memberships, workshops, and products offered by The Movement Collective.

By purchasing services or products, you agree to the terms outlined below.

General Policy

All sales are final unless otherwise stated in this policy. Refunds are not provided for unused sessions, missed appointments, or expired packages except where required by applicable Ontario law.

Appointments & Cancellations

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time.

  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged $50 for physiotherapy appointments, the full amount of class and the loss of a class credit will be charged to memberships.

  • No-shows will be charged the full amount.

  • Late arrivals may result in a shortened session without refund or credit.

 
Packages
  • Packages and Memberships are non-refundable once a class has been attended, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Packages are non-transferable without prior written approval from The Movement Collective.

  • Packages expire 6 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.

Unused sessions remaining after expiry are forfeited.

Memberships

Memberships are billed monthly and require 30 days notice for cancellation.

  • Early termination may result in forfeiture of remaining sessions.

  • Missed sessions do not roll over unless otherwise stated.

  • Membership terms and benefits are subject to change with notice.

 
Workshops & Special Events

 

Workshops, series, and special events are non-refundable within 24 hours of the event date.

If cancellation occurs before that time, participants may receive:

  • A credit toward future services, or

  • A refund.

 
Products

 

Retail products may be returned within 30 days of purchase if unused and in original condition.

Opened, used, or hygiene-related items are non-refundable.

Medical or Exceptional Circumstances

 

In cases of documented medical emergency or serious unforeseen circumstances, refund requests may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of The Movement Collective.

Supporting documentation may be required.

Studio Cancellations

 

If The Movement Collective cancels a session, workshop, or service, clients will be offered:

  • A rescheduled appointment, or

  • A full credit or refund for that service.

 
Consumer Protection

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes your rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 or other applicable laws.
