mat pilates

Mat Pilates focuses on building deep core strength, mobility, and muscular control using body weight resistance and intentional movement patterns. These small-group classes emphasize alignment, breath, and full-body coordination while challenging stability and endurance without the use of equipment. Suitable for all levels, mat sessions develop foundational strength that supports both daily movement and athletic performance.

class descriptions

Strength built with precision.

grounded

Start here. Move with intention.

A foundational class designed to build body awareness, proper alignment, and confidence. Expect mobility work, breath-led movement, and accessible sequences that lengthen and open the body. Perfect for beginners or anyone wanting a grounding reset.

We recommend 6-8 GROUNDED classes to feel comfortable.

sculpt

High volume. Light load. Serious burn.

An intermediate to advanced dynamic, low-impact class focused on toning, shaping, and enhancing muscular endurance. Expect lighter weights, controlled tempo, and flowing sequences with high reps. You’ll feel the slow burn while keeping the movement graceful and fluid.

BUILD

Get stronger, week by week.

An intermediate to advanced strength-focused class using progressive overload principles to build full-body power and endurance. Each class layers new challenges, heavier weights, and intentional progression. You’ll lift, push, and perform movements with purpose — all while maintaining Pilates precision.

control

Power through precision.

An intermediate to advanced class built around controlled, powerful concentric movements. Expect clean reps, purposeful resistance, and sequencing designed to maximize strength without rushing. Slow, deliberate work with a strong focus on form, stability, and strength efficiency.

how to get started

building your foundation

Our Pilates classes are designed for individuals looking to build strength, improve mobility, and move with greater control and confidence. Reformer and Mat sessions accommodate a range of experience levels, from those new to Pilates to clients refining their practice. If you are brand new to the reformer, we recommend beginning with a Private session for individualized guidance or completing 6–8 Grounded Reformer classes to establish a strong foundation before progressing to other formats. For Mat Pilates, attending 4–6 foundational classes before advancing is encouraged. This structured progression supports safety, proper technique, and long-term results.

thoughtful by design

All Reformer and Mat classes are 50 minutes and delivered in a supportive small-group setting with attentive instruction and thoughtful progression.

Our offerings include Grounded, Build, Sculpt, and Control, each designed with a distinct focus and level of intensity — you can explore the full class descriptions above to find the one that aligns with your goals.

Please bring your own water bottle, and note that grip socks are required for all Reformer classes. In every session, instructors provide clear guidance and modifications so you can move confidently and continue progressing at a pace that feels right for you.
