feel better, move better
physio therapy
At The Movement Collective, our physiotherapy services are grounded in detailed assessment, clinical reasoning, and a whole-body approach to recovery and performance. We take the time to understand your history, movement patterns, and goals so that treatment is tailored specifically to you — not just your symptoms. Whether you are navigating injury, persistent pain, post-surgical recovery, or returning to activity, our focus is on restoring efficient movement, building resilience, and supporting long-term function.
1
physiotherapy treatment
Physiotherapy sessions are delivered one-on-one and begin with a thorough assessment of your medical history, current symptoms, and movement patterns. Your initial appointment includes hands-on evaluation and functional testing to identify the root cause of discomfort or limitation, followed by a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals. Ongoing sessions may incorporate manual therapy, progressive exercise, mobility work, and education — all designed to support recovery, improve strength, and restore efficient, pain-free movement.
2
pelvic health physiotherapy
Pelvic health physiotherapy sessions are provided one-on-one and begin with a comprehensive assessment of your history, symptoms, and goals in a private and supportive setting. Your initial visit may include discussion of bladder, bowel, pelvic pain, pregnancy or postpartum concerns, as well as a physical examination — which may include an internal assessment if appropriate and with your informed consent. Treatment is individualized and may involve manual therapy, breathing and core retraining, pelvic floor muscle work, and progressive strength exercises designed to restore function, reduce symptoms, and build confidence.
3
rehabilitation pilates
Rehabilitation Pilates sessions are delivered in a small-group setting and are designed to support recovery from injury, manage persistent pain, or transition from physiotherapy into more independent movement. Each session focuses on controlled, progressive exercises tailored to common rehabilitation needs, with close supervision to ensure proper alignment, technique, and load management. The goal is to rebuild strength, stability, and confidence in a safe and supportive environment while bridging the gap between clinical care and traditional classes.
4
acupuncture
Acupuncture may be incorporated into your one-on-one physiotherapy treatment plan as part of a comprehensive approach to pain management and recovery. When clinically appropriate, acupuncture is used to support muscle relaxation, reduce inflammation, and promote natural healing alongside hands-on therapy and corrective exercise. Each session is individualized, and all techniques are discussed with you in advance to ensure comfort, understanding, and informed consent.
your path to recovery
Physiotherapy is designed for individuals experiencing pain, injury, mobility limitations, or returning to activity after time away. It is appropriate for those recovering from surgery, managing chronic conditions, navigating pregnancy or postpartum changes, or looking to prevent future injury through improved movement patterns. Whether your goal is symptom relief, performance enhancement, or long-term physical resilience, treatment is tailored to your individual needs.
your physiotherapy experience
All physiotherapy and rehabilitation sessions are delivered one-on-one and begin with a focused assessment to understand your history, symptoms, and movement patterns. For physiotherapy and rehabilitation clients, the initial assessment is 30 minutes and includes hands-on evaluation and functional testing, followed by a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals. Ongoing sessions are 30 minutes and may incorporate manual therapy, progressive exercise, mobility work, and education to support recovery and long-term strength.
Pelvic health physiotherapy begins with a comprehensive 60-minute initial assessment to allow adequate time for discussion, examination, and individualized care planning. Follow-up pelvic health sessions are 30 minutes and focus on continued treatment, education, and progressive strengthening based on your needs and stage of recovery.
